As the year-end sprint begins, Taixing Co., Ltd. is focusing on its core goal of "zero injuries and zero accidents," and with a strong sense of responsibility, it is deeply integrating winter safety risk prevention and control with its 100-day safety campaign. Through three key measures—instilling safety awareness, implementing precise strategies, and targeting specific challenges—the company is strengthening its safety production protection network to ensure the smooth operation of production and business activities at the end of the year.
How can the "safety first" philosophy be transformed from a slogan on the wall into the conscious actions of employees? Taixing Co., Ltd. has provided the answer through regular learning initiatives.
Since the fourth quarter, the company has fully implemented a "daily learning session for each work team" mechanism. Before and after each shift change, each team focuses on a specific safety point for learning. The content covers national safety production laws and regulations, the spirit of superior safety documents, internal management regulations, and special operation procedures, ensuring that the learning content is both systematic and comprehensive, and closely related to actual job responsibilities.
The vitality of an idea lies in the integration of knowledge and action. To ensure that safety knowledge is effectively implemented, Taixing Co., Ltd. is taking a two-pronged approach to strengthen enforcement: firstly, the safety supervision station conducts unannounced inspections and examinations at production sites using a "four-no, two-direct" approach (no prior notice, no fixed schedule, no specific location, no specific personnel, but direct access to the site and direct questioning of personnel), focusing on verifying employees' understanding of safety knowledge and their adherence to on-site safety procedures; secondly, the company is improving its assessment and incentive mechanisms, incorporating the monthly safety test scores of key safety management personnel into their performance evaluations, thereby promoting learning and application through testing.
"We hope that through this continuous, pervasive daily learning and regular supervision, safety regulations will truly transform from 'rules on paper' into the 'behavioral habits' of our employees," said Ji Bao, Safety Director of Taixing Co., Ltd.
A snowfall after the beginning of winter brought a sharp drop in temperature, posing a severe test to the safe operation of equipment. Taixing Co., Ltd. took targeted actions, implementing a comprehensive set of measures to prevent freezing and condensation during the winter.
The company quickly formed a professional inspection team, focusing on the safety of critical pipelines. They conducted a comprehensive inspection of vulnerable areas such as pipeline welds and sealing points using a "network-style" inspection model. During the inspection, strict closed-loop management was implemented. A list of identified hazards was created, with clear responsibilities and deadlines for rectification, ensuring that all hazards were addressed immediately and rectified completely.
The maintenance team simultaneously conducted a specialized "health check" on the electric heating system, comprehensively inspecting the operating status of the wiring and temperature control devices. They promptly replaced aging components and repaired faulty points, eliminating potential hazards such as short circuits and overheating fires at the source, thus ensuring the equipment's anti-freezing and insulation effectiveness.
In addition, each team, based on the safety needs of outdoor operations, carried out preventive cleaning of areas prone to icing, such as eaves and pipe racks, and laid anti-slip mats in key areas such as inspection routes and operating platforms. This provided a "safety net" for frontline workers, adding an extra layer of security and peace of mind for outdoor operations during the winter.
Taixing Co., Ltd. adheres to the principle of proactive prevention and source control, simultaneously strengthening both technical and management aspects to build a robust on-site safety defense line.
● Technical Level
The company strictly implements a hierarchical management system for critical equipment, installing monitoring instruments on core equipment such as reaction polymerization reactors and key compressors to capture subtle changes in parameters such as temperature, pressure, and vibration, achieving dynamic monitoring and early warning of equipment operating status.
● Management Level
The company further refines operating procedures, clarifying responsible personnel and execution standards from work permit approval and on-site safety confirmation to completion acceptance, building a full-process closed-loop management system.
Emergency response capability building is also a top priority. The company implements "four no's" emergency drills: no prior notice, no pre-set scripts, no pre-set scenarios, and no pre-set locations, allowing employees to improve their self-rescue and mutual aid capabilities in realistic simulated emergencies. "Now, when we encounter unexpected situations, we feel more confident and know what to do and who to contact," said an employee who participated in the drill.
Meanwhile, the company launched a "Six Reflections" discussion campaign among all employees. Through methods such as showing cautionary videos, displaying records of violations, and sharing safety stories from colleagues, they used real-life examples to sound the alarm on safety. Since the fourth quarter, they have conducted three safety awareness education sessions, reaching over 200 people.
