MCA appears as a slippery white crystalline powder without any odor or taste, and is insoluble in water and common organic solvents. As an additive-type flame retardant, MCA is environmentally friendly, highly efficient, and cost-effective, and is widely used in high molecular materials such as nylon, polyester, rubber, and epoxy resin, especially in non-reinforced nylon.
Taixing's melamine cyanurate is a high-purity, white substance with excellent thermal stability and electrical properties. Adding it to a substrate will not affect its color or the substrate's performance.
Its decomposition initiation temperature is about 350 degrees Celsius, which allows it to be used in engineering plastics with high processing temperatures. It also has extremely low ionic impurities, so the material's high insulation performance and low dielectric loss are not affected, and it can maintain the tracking resistance index, which is very important for electrical components.
