Melamine Cyanurate (MF: C6H9N9O3) is a nitrogen contained flame retardant and particularly suitable for the use of two pure nylon types, nylon 6 and nylon 66. It has various advantages such as extremely low application as a halogen-free flame retardant suitable for nylon, cost, superior electrical performance, mechanical performance, and coloring performance.

Granular MCA: Dust-free, clean production
MCA-10 (D50≤1.6): Used for nylon to obtain a more delicate surface.
MCA-20 (D50≥1.6): Excellent particle characteristics ensure better dispersion in nylon.
Refined MCA: Reach UL94-V0 in PA6
When selecting MCA, the appropriate particle size should be chosen based on the actual application. If you are using it in an automated production line, granular MCA is sufficient. If you are unsure about other factors, please contact us for specific details and formulation analysis. If it is used for thin-walled, high-toughness nylon, you should choose ultrafine particle size and surface-modified MCA.
Application: With its excellent particle characteristics and stable flame retardant performance, ensures dispersion and flame retardant effect in nylon. Mainly used for polyamide (PA6/PA66), fiberglass reinforced PA6/PA66, and can also be used for PET/PBT/TPU and epoxy resin.
