Aluminium Hypophosphite

Aluminium Hypophosphite is a widely used new environmentally friendly inorganic phosphorus flame retardant, which has excellent thermal stability, is slightly soluble in water, and has high purity and decomposition temperature in engineering plastics, wire and cable compounds. It is an ideal flame retardant for high-temperature engineering plastics.

Physical and Chemical Properties

● It has an extremely high phosphorus content, which can generate a protective polyphosphorus layer under high temperature conditions, while releasing non-flammable gas to block heat and oxygen, thus achieving flame retardancy.

● It has excellent thermal stability. Under high temperature conditions, Aluminium Hypophosphite does not easily decompose prematurely and can also form a synergistic system with other flame retardants.

● Environmentally friendly and low-toxicity, halogen-free means that this material does not produce halogenated pollutants. More importantly, the synergistic effect of its gaseous and condensed phases can reduce combustible gases, lower combustion temperature and smoke density.

● AHP has good compatibility; it can be uniformly and stably dispersed in the polymers it is added to without affecting the original stability and properties of the substrate. Moreover, it has high whiteness, firstly because of its high purity, and secondly because it can avoid interfering with or offsetting the original color of the substrate.
